There must be folks at BlackBerry who sit around all day racking their brains: Now, what else can we do for our favorite road warriors? I got it! Built-in GPS. And for that, we’re grateful. Sure, you can add a Bluetooth GPS receiver to other smart phones, but how nice is it when your machine starts speaking directions right out of the box? Fire up the new BlackBerry 8800 TeleNav GPS Navigator program ($9.99 per month), enter an address and the device will map out your route in seconds.

Can’t remember where that client’s office is located? The TeleNav app is smart enough to look up addresses directly from the 8800’s contact list. We especially like the Biz Finder feature: Select “dry cleaner” or “steakhouse” and get directions on the spot. From there, a friendly female voice guides you to your destination, telling you with just enough warning when to turn.
