EasyHotel Ltd will open budget hotels under the "easyHotel" brand, and the London-based group plans to bring "easyMobile" and "easyOffice" to the world's second-most populous nation, Haji-Ioannou said in an interview in Mumbai Wednesday. Haji-Ioannou joins Hilton Hotels Corp and Accor SA, Europe's largest hotel company, which are building rooms in Asia's fourth-biggest economy as airlines add flights to new airports and tourism grows at the world's third-fastest pace after Montenegro and China. EasyHotel's current properties are in the London neighborhood of South Kensington and the Swiss city of Basel. The hotelier charges lower prices to customers who book rooms further in advance, and levies extra fees for changes of bedding and towels, apart from the use of the television.
