"And I learned from my grandmother to always give back. Make a difference." For Staten Island's Joseph and Rosina Trimarchi, LaGanga, whose firm handles equity and fixed-income trading for institutional clients, has made all the difference. Their youngest daughter, Alexia, now 7, was born with a host of afflictions -- spastic quadriplegia cerebral palsy, vision and verbal impairment, seizure and gastronomic disorders -- that will keep her wheelchair-bound her entire life.
