This dandy 10-megapixel shooter was tailor-made for all your summer adventures, whether they take you scuba diving in Palau or no further than the pool at the Dallas Four Seasons.

Thanks to its system of seals and gaskets, the Stylus is waterproof up to 33 feet. Four underwater-scene modes help you get the best shot every time, and you can even record movies underwater (albeit at a poky 15 frames per second).

A water-repellent coating keeps droplets from forming on the 3.6x wide-angle lens. Just in case anyone questions the authenticity of your photos, a built-in manometer (that’s the pressure gauge, not an indi­cator of how manly you are) displays the depth at which each image was taken.

Available in black, silver and green, the ­Stylus is equally hardy out of water. Shock-absorbing technology ­allows it to withstand drops from 6.6 feet. And the rugged metal body and reinforced 2.7-inch LCD can withstand up to 220 pounds of force. The airtight design also makes it impervious to dust and dirt.
