Trader Bowl Rules 2007
For Pick 'Em Rules
For Survivor Rules

Welcome to the 2007-2008 Trader Bowl Double-Elimination Survivor Game - a weekly game that challenges you to show your skills by correctly identifying a winning professional football team in each of the 17 weeks of the NFL regular season.

Each week you must select one team that you suspect will be a winner in their game that weekend. If that professional team wins, you remain Active and are allowed to pick again the following week. Because this game is double elimination, you may pick one team that loses (or ties) its game and still remain Active in the Trader Bowl. But if you select another professional football team that loses or ties its game at any subsequent time in the NFL regular season, you will be eliminated from the competition and may no longer make future picks.

To make this simple sounding game more of a challenge, you can only select each professional football team ONCE during the regular NFL season.

Survival Rules

1. The Trader Bowl 2007 Survival Contest (the "Contest") is a contest of skill that requires each contestant to select a different team for each week in the NFL regular season. A week consists of all games played from Saturday to Monday. All games played from Saturday to Monday are eligible. Games played from Tuesday to Friday are not eligible. No team can be selected more than once during the regular season. Each Active participant must select one team each week. Only one team may be selected each week.

2. No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or to win. A purchase or payment will not increase your chances of winning.

3. All contestants must be 21 years of age or older and U.S. residents only. Employees and contractors of Doubledown Media, LLC, its advertising agencies, their affiliates, representatives, and their families or households are ineligible to enter/win.

4. All contestants must be registered members of TraderDaily.com, TraderDaily.co.uk, DealmakerDaily.com or PrivateAirDaily.com. Registration is free and open to subscribers and non-subscribers of Trader Monthly, Trader Monthly UK, Dealmaker or Private Air magazines. All participants must register with a valid email address. Register here (http://http://traderdaily.com/diversions/traderbowl/index.html, http://http://dealmakerdaily.com/diversions/traderbowl/index.html).

5. Each contestant may register just one email address. Any one contestant found to be playing under multiple email addresses will be automatically eliminated from the Contest.

6. If the team selected in any week wins, the contestant will remain Active in the contest. If the team selected loses (including overtime losses) or ties on any week, the contestant remains Active in the contest only if that is his first losing pick. If a contestant subsequently selects a team that loses (including overtime losses) or ties on its chosen week, he is eliminated from the contest.

7. The Grand Prize winner will be the contestant who survives after all other contestants are eliminated from the Contest. In the event that all remaining contestants are eliminated in a given week, play will resume the following week with the same contestants from the previous week and continue until a winner emerges.

If no single winner emerges during the regular season, all contestants with a single elimination will first be eliminated from the finalist pool. Then, if more than one finalist with zero eliminations remains, we will determine a winner by adding up the point differentials between each finalist's correct Survival picks and the losing teams those correctly picked teams played during the regular-season week they were chosen by that finalist. Finalists will be ranked according to the size of the cumulative point differential of all their correct Survival picks over all losing opponents during the each finalists' correctly chosen games. In other words, a finalist whose Survival picks have consistently won big over their opponents (during the weeks those Survival teams were chosen by the finalist) will be ranked higher than a finalist whose Survival picks have barely won their chosen games. In a tie situation, the contestant with the highest point differential total – that is, the most decisive wins for the season -- will be declared the winner. In the event of a point-differential total tie at this stage, all tied contestants will submit via email to a Trader Bowl administrator point-spread predictions for all Week One NFL Playoff games. The finalist whose total point spreads come closest to the actual combined point spreads for the Week One NFL Playoff games will win.

8. There will be one Grand Prize. In the event that two or more contestants are tied after Week 17, the prize will be split and shared among all tied contestants.

9. If a contestant misses the deadline to select a team for that week, such contestant will be automatically assigned a loss for that week. No default picks will be made by Contest administrators.

10. If the team selected by a participant is an invalid selection (i.e. the contestant has selected that team in a previous week) or the team is not playing that week (a “bye” week), such contestant will be automatically assigned a loss for that week.

11. All selections must be made via www.traderdaily.com or www.dealmakerdaily.com, by no later than 1 p.m. EST each Sunday during the NFL regular season.

12. All initial registration must be completed by Thursday, September 6, at 10 a.m. EST. However, because this Contest is double elimination, participants may register through Friday, September 14, at 5 p.m. EST, and simply take Week One as a loss. The first week of regular-season NFL play will be counted as a loss for all players who register after September 6 at 10 am and before September 14 at 5 pm. Because this game is double elimination, late registrants may continue to play until they accumulate one additional loss.

13. If a game is rescheduled for another day during the same week, all picks will remain unchanged. If a game is rescheduled for another week, all picks regarding the originally scheduled game become void.

14. No responsibility will be taken for computer errors on the part of participants.

15. The Contest is void where prohibited by law.

16. The Contest is neither affiliated with nor endorsed by the NFL or any other organization. Player and team names and statistics are used for informational purposes only. Statistics supplied are from sources believed to be reliable.

17. The Grand Prize must be accepted as awarded and will be awarded only to the qualifying contestant.

Identification will be required. Taxes, if any, are the responsibility of the contestant. The contest is subject to all federal, state and local laws. The Contest administrator reserves the right to disqualify any contestant or to withdraw or amend the Contest at any time in its absolute discretion in case of error, technical problem or any matter interfering with the conduct of the contest as contemplated by these rules.

18. The decisions of the Contest administrator are final on all matters of fact, interpretation, eligibility, procedure and fulfillment.

19. By registering for and entering this Contest, and as a condition of entry, you acknowledge acceptance of all Contest rules and terms, and agree to be bound by them. You also acknowledge and agree that Doubledown Media, LLC will have the right to print, publish, broadcast and use, worldwide in any media now known or hereafter developed, including but not limited to the world wide web, at any time or times, the winner’s name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness and biographical information as news or information and for advertising, trade and promotional purposes without additional consideration and without notification, review or approval.

Trader Bowl Pick ‘Em Rules – 2007

Welcome to the 2007 Trader Bowl Pick 'Em Game -- a weekly game that challenges you to correctly identify an entire slate of NFL games against the point spread.

Each week, you must choose one team in each match-up to beat the point spread Odds of the Game. This point spread will be determined each Monday night, and will be standard and consistent with widely distributed Las Vegas lines.

Weekly Pick 'Em Rules

1. Registration may take place at any time in the season, however contestants who register before the first NFL game of the season will have a greater opportunity to accumulate more winning points by playing the entire NFL season.

2. The Trader Bowl 2007 Pick ‘Em Contest (the "Contest") is a contest of skill that requires each contestant to choose a full slate of teams for each regular-season game based on the provided point spreads. (For example, if you choose the New England Patriots over the Chicago Bears with a 7-point spread, the Patriots must beat the Bears by at least 7 points in order for you to win that game. If you choose the Bears, you win if the Bears win or if the Bears lose by 6 points or fewer.)

3. No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win. A purchase or payment will not increase your chances of winning.

4. All contestants must be 21 years of age or older and U.S. residents only. Employees and contractors of Doubledown Media, LLC, its advertising agencies, their affiliates, representatives, and their families or households are ineligible to enter/win.

5. All contestants must be registered members of TraderDaily.com, DealmakerDaily.com, TraderDaily.co.uk or PrivateAirDaily.com. Registration is free and open to subscribers and nonsubscribers of Trader Monthly, Dealmaker or Private Air magazines.

6. Each contestant may register just one email address. Any one contestant found to be playing under multiple email addresses will be automatically eliminated from the Contest.

7. The winner will be determined by analyzing each player’s picks every week. The winner each week is the person who accumulates the most points. Points are assigned for each correct pick. A loss or push results in zero points – no negative points are assigned. If two or more players are tied for first place, a winner will be determined by examining each tied player’s Monday Night Football score predictions that week. The player with the lowest average differential between predictions of total estimated and actual scores will be determined the weekly winner of the 2007 Trader Bowl Pick ‘Em contest. In case of an unbreakable tie, the player with the higher score the following week, will be determined the winner.

8. Each week, players will also guess the cumulative point total for the final NFL game of the weekend (the Monday Night Football game), which will be explicitly designated in the voting tool. If multiple players are tied for the highest points for any given week (including the final week), the player with the closest tie breaker prediction, regardless if they are over or under, to the actual tie breaker value is the winner.

9. You must pick a full roster of teams each week. If you fail to pick a team in any given match-up, you will be assigned a default pick for that game, which will be the home team, regardless of who that team is.

10. All selections must made via www.traderdaily.com or www.dealmakerdaily.com, before the kick-off of each game.

11. There will be one weekly winner.

12. If a game is rescheduled for another day during the same week, all picks will remain unchanged. If a game is rescheduled for another week, all picks regarding the originally scheduled game become void.

13. No responsibility will be taken for computer errors on the part of participants.

14. The Contest is void where prohibited by law.

15. The Contest is neither affiliated with nor endorsed by the NFL or any other organization. Player and team names and statistics are used for informational purposes only. Statistics supplied are from sources believed to be reliable.

16. The Weekly Prizes must be accepted as awarded and will be awarded only to the qualifying contestant. Identification will be required. Taxes, if any, are the responsibility of the contestant. Chances of winning the Contest are dependent upon the skill used in picking winning teams and the total number of eligible participants. The Contest is subject to all federal, state and municipal laws. The Contest administrator reserves the right to disqualify any contestant or to withdraw or amend the contest at any time in its absolute discretion in case of error, technical problem or any matter interfering with the conduct of the contest as contemplated by these rules.

17. The decisions of the Contest administrator are final on all matters of fact, interpretation, eligibility, procedure and fulfillment.

18. By registering for the contest, and as a condition of entry, you acknowledge and agree that DoubleDown Media, LLC will have the right to print, publish, broadcast and use, worldwide in any media now known or hereafter developed, including but not limited to the world wide web, at any time or times, the winner's name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness and biographical information as news or information and for advertising, trade and promotional purposes without additional consideration and without notification, review or approval.
